i've decided to do monthly posts about significant enough things. so here's for JANUARY 2010.

Significant Event #1: NEW YEAR!
there's really nothing much to elaborate about. counted down yay new year and yeah that's about it. i treated my family to the first breakfast of the year with soya bean milk, ham chi peng and you cha kueh.

Significant Event #2: BECOMING A FREELANCE MODEL!
ok so i went down to the agency to see what it was about on like 4/1 monday and knew what the whole freelance modelling thingy is about and my mother encouraged me to try it and tada, signed and paid. had my photoshoot on that friday and you saw some of the pictures already i suppose. so yeah, after that it will be like have jobs and some have casting some don't have. selected then go for the job and get paid. my aim is just to earn back what i paid. heh.

Significant Event #3: MUAY THAI!
signed up for muay thai with jolene. had about 5 lessons already. interesting group of people we are learning with. we're like the oldest (and most intellectual). haha. so we've learning some jabs, hooks, uppercuts, elbowing, kicks and blocks. i'm just learning for interest. not to whack people. i dun need to do that. i have a natural aura. HAHA.

Significant Event #4: CRUISE!
ok i went for my first cruise trip of the year. not like i never go before, so there's nothing much to say. oh got. i went to the casino and gambled. yeah ok so that's the only difference. heh.

Significant Event #5: FIRST MODELLING JOB!
my first modelling job was being a model for an equipment launch at the wavehouse sentosa. so my job scope was to take pictures with the guests and to mingle around. i was like freaking nervous before that because yeah me and mingling no link. but it turned out fine. the other model there was very friendly and experienced so :) yay i survived. the equipment is some printer and plotter those big big types not the ones we have at home. yep. Company is called Océ and the equipment one is PlotWave 300™, the other is ColorWave 600™. i don't have the pics yet and i dunno if i will ever get them, but if i do i will post.

Significant Event #6: DINNER AT SPAGGEDIES!
met up with jolene, wl, sj and qy after ages of not seeing them. had dinner at spaggedies at bedok. we sat and talked for so long until they were closing and they shooed us out then we headed to a coffee shop to talk some more until we decided to go in case we missed the last bus. great time with great friends :D

Significant Event #7: DISTRIBUTING VOUCHERS -.-
yeah u see the lack of the !. it was entirely boring and a waste of my time. but i had the time and i could do with the extra money. so i basically just go around giving pple spa vouchers and getting contacts. garh! dun even want to talk about it anymore. and they haven given me my pay. i shall call them on monday and demand my money.

Significant Event #8: 6c21 DINNER!
met up with the class for dinner at DTE Just Acia. thanks to dear little juney. im sincere about the thanks. long time since i last saw them, except for quanyi. so it was nice just talking crap and catching up about some pple's lives and having a meal together.

Significant Event #9: XUEMI'S WEDDING!
xuemi is my cousin.

Significant Event #10: I GOT MY OWN SET OF WHEELS!
yeah that will mean my bicycle :D haha.

Significant Event #11: I GOT A JOB!
as a part time telemarketer in MP Financial under AIA. the pay is like below what i expected but i still took the job anyway because the place is near my house i can cycle there and the timing is flexible so i can arrange my own schedule according to my not very stable modelling jobs.

Significant Event #12: TREETOP WALK + WEILIANG'S HOUSEWARMING!
morning went for treetop walk with weiliang and shunjie. sj and i actly went there before, with odac. but it was soooo memorably we forgot until we went there and saw the bridge. after that they went swimming and i went off and did a bit of shopping at ntuc to cook at weiliang's house. There was pasta, soup and curry- which was super spicy! :) We didn't do much except eat and eat and eat. hehheh.

Significant Event #13: MY FIRST TVC!
it's supposed to be confidential so oopsy. anyway, it won't be aired in singapore. woah i'm an international model -.-

Significant Event #14: MY FIRST MAG SHOOT!
did a shoot for some online mag but i still haven't gotten the url so i cannot show you anything.

Significant Event #15: AFRICAN MEAL!
ok this is sort of a farewell meal for huanjun and weiliang who were going into ns. so i cooked an african meal. i shall say it's a success :D

we went for homestay in taichung. really very homey feeling and the owner is daaaaaaamn friendly :D even though the place quite jian lou but cos the owner very friendly, so made the stay very enjoyable.

ok that's about it for the first 4 days. took me daaaaaaaaamn long -.- please be patient and wait for the remaining 12, if you are even interested. lol.
