today we went to many places. morning we went to bitan to see the world's longest suspension bridge. haha. it moves when u walk on it. LOL. then we went to see the nearby marketplace at the other end of the bridge.

after that we went cks memorial hall. its in memory of jiang jie shi. taiwan's first president. i bet u din know that. haha cos i din know too until i went there. LOL. and there was some carnival there today. to prevent aids, drugs and drink driving if im not wrong. and there was a fancy drill performance by some girls' school. haha. quite cool.

then we went to have buffet. super yummy. haha. i ate crocodile meat. first time eat ok. nth much la. just another meat. lol. damn full after that. as in full from the food not the crocodile meat. the deserts are like heavenly la. haha. i love deserts (:

then we took a train down to keelung. check in the hotel and headed for jiufen. its a very nice place. cooling breezy air with loads of food. but we were all quite full from the buffet so we didn't eat much. heh.

after that we went to the keelung night market. which is again full of food but we are too damn full so we are now back at the hotel to rest and digest and then heading for the market again later. haha. YUMMMMMMMMY (:

ok so woke up at 5.30 to go to the airport and boarded the plane bound for hongkong to transit to taiwan. reached taiwan at around 3. and i watched hero on the plane. lol. after reaching taiwan, took a bus to my hotel in taipei. left our stuff and headed out to eat eat and eat. LOL. we very zai one ok. we take public transport. haha. and it was 32degreescelsius when we reached and now its 22. super big change. probably cos thrs a thunderstorm now. lol.

I AM SO EXCITED LATER I CANNOT FALL ASLEEP HOW HOW HOW??? PLEASE DO NOT BE JEALOUS :D HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. SORRY AH REALLY EXCITED :D HAHA.

hugo just left for his holidays. lol. the boarding house person came to fetch him to his home for the next two weeks already. zzz. sian. i miss hugo already. lol. but he has been there twice before so im sure he will do fine. lol.

anyway, back from the expedition. it was a good one overall. new experience. 72km leh. hehheh.

ok so first day took jolene's father's car to school and had wafer for dinner then met up in school in which a certain sense of punctuality was not kept and we left later then scheduled. the bus at the malaysian customs was also late and all of us were rather worried tht we can't finish our 40km for the first day.

so we reached paka river camp the next morning super late. had breakfast in which people just dilly dally here and there. i mean its like we are already late shouldnt we make up for lost time? then we board the bus and set of for our starting point. the bus driver got lost and we were even later. we launched off at 10.30 i think. we were supposed to launch off at ard 8 to 9. so we kayak kayak kayak. i partnered wangye at first then switched to leeyan at dunno which checkpoint. and yes WE COMPLETED OUT 40KM IN 8HRS 10MINS. good thing we completed it. haha.

nothing much exciting actually. branches here and there. thorns bugs. but there was this point of time in which there was this fallen log and a lot of people capsized and arthur was lost. me and wangye capsized too. i think i super zai. let me brag please. haha. i told wangye to grab sth cos she was drifting away too then i swam against the current which was super duper tiring to get back my kayak, overturned it with help and went to save wangye. zai right? haha.

so we finished the first day's 40km and went back to prc. had dinner washed up. the toilets were surprisingly clean and i was glad. i totally hate dirty disgusting toilets. and then we had to make our beds. i still don't understand why we can't sleep on the floor. i wonder if anybody took pictures of the bed. hopefully have. next time have i post.

then next morning breakfast then set of for our remaining 32km. much lesser obstacles but we were against the current. kayaked with jolene at first then jerome after lunch. kayaking with jerome is damn cool. its pretty effortless. somehow la. haha. then gayed with jiajin and yuki at the back which was pretty much morale boosting. haha. there were crocodiles in our kayak. at first only had one. after tht the eggs hatched and there were 3 more. then one migrated to jiajin and yuki's kayak. and the crocodiles like to lean towards the left. damn irritating. then then then we reached! checkpoint 9 nia la. haven end yet. took loads of photos and then we had our race. me and jerome win leh. cool hor? HAHA. and WE COMPLETED OUR 32KM IN AROUND 8HRS.

MEANING WE COMPLETED 72KM IN LIKE 16HOURS!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!

ok so after we finished we had to change to dry clothes to board the bus and we erm changed in the open. it was supposed to be behind walls but... still abit open. one side is grassland one side is open sea. so exciting. LOL.

then we went to pasar malam and ate and drank. didnt have time for durians ): oh i ate chicken backside. lol. so brave. HAHA. then we board the bus again and headed back to prc and had night walk. tht was damn irritating. there was this family with 2 small little kids who followed us and slowed the whole walk down and we finished the damn walk at around 11 plus. it was supposed to finish at around 9.30. and i had a leechbite! eeee. but it was really painless la. then had dinner. i was so damn pissed off. that night slept at almost 1 plus.

ok so third day we had a trek. mdm lim went with us and she completed it. really respect her for her determination. i mean its not simple for her. so we had a climb up. the upward journey was easier. just climb and walk climb and walk. then we reached the waterfall. played water inside for a while. quanyi made us do evaluation in the cold water. and then we headed down. wahpiang. i tell you. the journey down was the worst of the whole expedition. i walk until my legs went soft la. my sense of balance is like super duper lousy and i was just grabbing on to any plant i saw. not even tree. just plant. and i accidentally grabbed one with thorns. lol. and quanyi and jerome were trees to. one mobile one. one portable one. haha. damn cute. lol. then it started raining. i almost cried la. i was devastated. lol. good thing it stopped after a short while. haha.

then we reached!!! YAY!!! and we showered and then we went back to prc. had a bbq dinner in which the food was already bbqed for us. lol. played truth or dare which was super lame and in my opinion a waste of time then went to sleep at 1plus.

woke up then did area cleaning. i washed the kayaks and pfds and paddles with a few others. then we did our last evaluation and was supposed to go off at 9.30 to kuantan for shopping. but the god damn bus the aircon spoil. and repair damn long. we reached kuantan at 1.30 we were supposed to leave at 1.3o -.- had pizza hut for lunch then continued our journey. the tire of the bus burst. lousy bus right? then i think aircon spoil again. so they open some little hole on the ceiling of the bus for wind. had dinner. continued the journey. reached had ard 11. late by almost 2 hrs.

hoho reached home unpacked bathed talked slept (:

the trip was pretty enjoyable i guess. a lot of niaoing here and there. lack of some sense of urgency and punctuality here and there and everywhere. but i guess the sense of satisfaction of finishing the 72km and not falling down for the downward journey and upward also la can overcome those. so (:

oh right. and me and jolene discovered the ultimate camp food. its called marshmallows. you know those for bbq. yah. its like totally NO FIBRE. all sugar and carb which is like utmost importance for camps especially like this. haha.

ok so since i last posted, quite a lot hv happened. but like nothing much happened also. lol. so cts are over (: ok lag lag but nvm. cts are over. haha. i guess they were just like exams la. just lesser topics and different topics. computing was a new experience though. we used a computer to do our test and the before test script (y'knw the all electronic and communative devices stuff) didnt hold. haha. and computing is my first ever unfinished test. whoo...

after computing test went to marina sq with sj and ly. had dinner. talked a bit crapped a bit eat a lot. went home. quite a pathetic end to cts...

had kayaking tht wknd. ok nth much to say la. kayak lor. liddat lor. kayak kayak kayak. tan tan tan. after tht fade fade fade.

monday brought hugo to the vet for his annual vaccination. he is 8.7kg. when i saw the numbers on the weighing scale i literally gasp out loud. quite shock. he was 7.7 in december. haha. afternoon had ebay meeting in which i almost shrivelled and died. we settled some stuff but none is being done. i also lazy to care alrdy. zzz.

after tht normal sch week. super sian. no mood to study at all. and thurs was horrible. lessons till 5.15 but i only had 8periods of lesson. we literally sat in the canteen for 3 and a half hours. my ass almost rotted. and the sichuan and myanmar video kept playing till we were so sick of the songs. after tht mr lim treated 5c21 to pizza and soya bean and pepsi. he refused to tell us wads the occasion. phy after tht and he told us a story of the christmas sock. quite touching la actly.



today last day of school. had farewell for 2 teachers. zzz.

one semester gone. one quarter of senior high gone. 5c21 went through lots of seperation. xingdong left. then tinghui left. gaomiao joined us. quanyi joined us. mr tomithy too left. mr yappy blastoise came. and now at the end of one sem, mr yappy mr spenserong mrs neo and maybe mr lim is leaving. which makes it 4 out of 5 of my subject tutors leaving. woah. quite a lot hurh. ah well. shall post pics when i get them from shunjie.

after school went to tm pizza hut for lunch with jolene and daphne. so long nv see her alrdy :D and the service was daaaamn zzzzzzz. jolene was damn displeased. lol. after tht went to get food for kayakingexp with jolene at ntuc. then go home and i finished packing (: yay.

going kayaking expedition from tmr till weds. im feeling pretty neutral about it right now. hope its fun.

quick update before i return to the numbers and weird stuff thats i find no use in and a chore to study and remember.

gp paper on monday. i wrote crap for paper1. as in seriously crap. i read it after i finish and was amaze at how i can produce something so crappy and nonsensical. but i was too lazy to do anything so i left it. not tht i knw wad to do with it also la. paper2 was damn chim. the aq was like #$%^&*. crapped sth out in horrendous writing. but managed to finish the paper. hopefully can pass la. later my h3 fly away...

econs paper today. i think it was fine. hope i can do well. im pinning my hopes on this for now cos gp was zzz. i did qn2 cos i din understand wad qn3 part1 wanted. lol. and my diagrams were humungous. haha. but the handwriting was awful. sorry la. pressed for time is liddat one. haha. but at least my horrendous writing is bigger than my normal writing. heh.

and sth funny happened. mr ong was walking ard asking people how was the paper and i saw him walk towards us {[me jo qy weiliang (who was studying for chem)] (omg! look at my brackets! HAHA)} and then i turned to listen to qy talk or sth. then mr ong suddenly (ok maybe not so suddenly i saw him walking towards us) asked "Jasvin, how was the paper?" and i jumped. as in literally jumped. LOL. mr ong was amused. sorry la but i got weak heart.

weiliang say tmr maths paper is difficult according to some alien. later my heart cannot take it i faint. LOL.

oooh and i baked a cake today :D not the disgusting one. the edible yummy ones. cos tmr my father's bday. i baked oreo cheesecake :D pro hor? i wanted to make icecream cake one but its damn time consuming cos still need to make the icecream. so i decided on a simpler less time consuming one. shall make the icecream cake for my bro's bday. haha. i am so nice (:
