updates. FINALLY :D

新年快乐 everybody! :D

i'm so sorry for the lack of updates. have been sooooo busy. school has already started. 3rd week just ended. time really really flies. started on new stuff and fluids and soils and geomatics. woah. information overload. haha. scenario 3 is next week. we're supposed to build a shrimp farm. and we're in groups of 12. like super ultra big group. hope it will turn out fine!

i've decided to drop the committee position in ewb. doesn't really seem to be for me. the comm is a fun bunch but my plate is full (and i'm getting fat) so i kinda just evaluated my priorities and ewb is not on the top. i'll be an active member though. so i'll just concentrate on singsoc and dhs (though this one really not much to do hahahaha) for now and next year no more societal stuff. i'm going to take up an overseas volunteer project for the summer and it'll be a year of prep. so hopefully things go as planned ba :D

so there's been a few bdays since. just celebrated one for my coursemate from egypt during an hour's break. no pictures though. it was rather impromptu and i didn't have my camera and i don't have an iphone to do mobile uploads (sour sour).

denise's 20th at koya with very good udon. she's not in the picture though. she sat at another table. haha.
fin's 19th with a surprise at his hall :D
and i watched another musical, les miserables. awesome musical. loooooooove the set and the singing and the story. can't decide which is my favourite anymore.

and we went to see london's ice sculpture festival. a tad disappointing cos there weren't many sculptures and we didn't go on the hands on day. we only saw a competition. so we saw the final touches and the final product.

and it's been almost a month since i last blogged, of course there's a lot of good food that went into my stomach :D

chicken curry, fish curry and vegetable curry. indian food at shilpa.
and because its chinese new year, there's a lot of celebrations. firstly was the combined alumni cny carnival by hwachong, raffles, vj and dhs :D huge success :D then there was our little hall steamboat atas ttm and ytd there was uclss cny celebrations where there was not enough food but the turnout was good, with karaoke, mahjong and games. and i just came back from ura cny dinner with turkish food, exotic yo!

ok cny celebrations continue tmr. for now. time to do a bit of readings. then sleep. before i lost them all next week for scenario 3. shall try to blog about the weekend if i can. tata for now :D
