Ok, I’m gna start all corny and cliché. OMGZXZXZXZ! This is the last post of 2008 already. OMGXZXZXZXZXZ! So fast worxzxzxz. Time really flies. Like WOOOOOSH! -.-

Ok so I skipped the whole 2007 recap thingy last year cos I was too lazy but now I have nothing to do so I shall erm 总结 my 2008.

So I shall start with what is like a bulk of my miserable little life – school. Ok fine I don’t have a miserable little life, in fact, I found 2008 rather enjoyable other than some like hiccups here and there.

Ok so it was the start of senior high life, which is JC if some aliens still do not know that yet. Yah it was busy here and there, especially when we had some little competitions which I’m sure will remain as really really fond memories in the hearts of the computing students.

Ok so 5c21 is a really interesting class. Interesting not as in the funny interesting way but the weird interesting way. Cos last year we (ok me and sj) were like OHNO! WE MUST STICK TGT OK? SO MANY WEIRD PEOPLE IN OUR CLASS! Then we formed this little outcast group with Jerome and june and we were supposed to play mahjong which we haven’t done so at all after a whole year. But I supposed it’s a nice class in its own way. It’s united in a very not united way. And u dun come across a class with a blackie, a hairy, a smelly, a bobo and a pointy everyday.

Oh I topped the class after a hiatus of like erm 8 years. Clap clap clap :D yah 8 years ago is p2. haha. And studying in 5c21 is a much more relaxing thing than previous years cos 1b2b is like so damn competitive. Like so damn damn damn competitive. And yah I’m competitive by nature. I like winning. Who doesn’t? and 3c4c isn’t really competitive other than a few here and there who like comparing marks, but mixing with people like jiaqi and yuxuan and sitting behind tina and Milan and in front of cuimeng is like oh I got 25/30! :D and then surrounding people will be like 27 28 29. so there was the ego-crushing factor. 5c21, or rather the people I mix with, all just want to pass -.- you all shldn’t you know. You all must work hard and aim higher ok? (what a failed attempt to sound encouraging, but I’m serious la)

Ok I just broke a nail ):

Enough abt academics. Cca wise, sailing. Rather ok. Sometimes it’s not really enjoyable cos of lack of wind and what not. It’s very dependent on weather, a bit too much actually. But when there’s good wind, it’s good. And then there’s always the weird tanlines everywhere. But not as weird and ugly as those glove lines. Haha.

Ok and there was the cineodeon win with 50 movie tickets but the cinema is sooooo out of the way. Anyway I’ve used more than half. Probably will finish it by the time holidays end.

Ah enough about school.

There were a lot of first times this year also.
- I appeared in dunman link! Like OHHH FINALLY!!! Now I can graduate in peace :)
- I won my first lucky draw. You remember the National Treasure thingy? Don’t remember also nvm. Heh.
- I went to Taiwan, china, japan and Vietnam. Ok and hongkong also but that one not first time so yah.
- Ooooh HUGO’S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! :D
- Went to my first qian chang hui and yan chang hui. Both caoge’s. and also the mini concert on cruise.
- Then there was the mini linyoujia concert also on cruise.
- Ok then I embarked on project weiliang and abandoned mission halfway cos the subject wasn’t cooperative.
- And it was also the first time all my uncles and aunts appeared together. All 13 siblings. The sad thing is it has to happen on such an occasion.

Ok that’s all I can rmb for now, so I suppose these are the more memorable ones.

As for resolutions… erm I don’t thing I’m making any. Hard to keep. Heh. But 2009 will be great I’m sure though we will all be really busy preparing for a lvls. i mean as of now, there are a few things to look forward to like mayday's autograph session next monday which yuki and quanyi said they will go :D and linjunjie's concert which weiliang said he will go. and linyoujia's concert that i said i will go with weiliang to camp and listen outside.

ok there's the countdown party at dte later got caoge but i dunno, maybe holidays then i put on weight now i feel too heavy to get off the sofa. ok fine im just lazy, hopefully the put on weight part isnt true. and then there's homecoming on friday but i dun feel like going cos it doesnt seem very interesting and then there is the 2b outing which i think i will give it a miss since well oh yah.

oh i'm cooking dinner tmr :D it's gna be a 4 course meal :D yumyumyum :D if im not too lazy, i will post pictures of my edible art pieces :D hehheh.

and ive decided to spend the first few days of 2009 in deep reflection of 2008 and think through seriously what i want to achieve in 2009 and about my future and all that stuff. hmm. i will do that by immersing myself in youtube for 娱乐百分百， 小鬼当家 and 霹雳MIT. yay. missed so many episodes alrdy. ohhh and i want to watch 我的亿万面包 too. 

Ok so erm HAPPY NEW YEAR!

yesterday was a horrible day.

first i wanted to bring my dog for grooming so i called the shop and he told me 12.30pm. ok so i left at ard 12.15 and i reached there at 12.25. the damn shop wasn't open so i waited cos i'm the early one so i cannot blame the person for being late. but shouldn't u open before the time ur customer is supposed to come? i waited until 12.30 shop not open. so i called the person and he told me he's reaching in 5mins. oooohhhkkkaaay..... i wait. 5 mins, no appearance. 10 mins, still no appearance. i got fedup and left. he called me at 1pm. that's nice.

and this isnt the first time alrdy. the first time i decided to use their free transport service, they came late to fetch hugo and also came late in returning hugo. then for convenience sake, i used they boarding services when i went overseas for 4 or 5 days i can't rmb. hugo came back smelling horrible with matted fur. horrible service.

ok so hugo didn't get groomed. he's getting groomed tomorrow by an experienced groomer who has quite good reviews.

ok so ytd i went to watch bedtime stories. very lighthearted story. i think it's rather creative though it also has some really cliche parts but if you want a laugh and a happy ending, you can try this. i haven't watched yesman. dang. oh the guinea pig in the movie is damn cute. bugsy is his name. haha.

ok so pissed off part 2 of the day happened after the movie. went to eat at koufu and the dessert shop service is horrible i tell you. i wanted tau suan. but they didnt have. so it went liddat.

me: 我要tausuan 跟 ...
B1: tausuan 卖完了 (walks away)
me: EH! i haven't finish my order!

* after some time *

B2: 你要什么？
me: chendol 跟 icekacang 红豆而已
B2: (gives me chendol and icekacang with corn all over)
me: 我要红豆而已 (stresses on 而已)
B2 to B3: 她要红豆而已
B3: (scoops the corn out of the icekacang together with the ice such that my icekacang looks more like a column then a pyramid)
me: 你把我一半的冰那掉, 给我一个新的.
B3: (stare at me but she has no choice cos who as her scoop my ice away?)

don't tell me i'm unreasonable. everybody hawker selling icekacang knows that red bean only means only ice syrup and red bean. since when has corn been red bean? corn is yellow for goodness sake. and you do not give your customer half the kacang because you prepared the order wrongly.

B does not stand for banana. i leave it up to your imagination as to what B stands for.

ok i ended horrible day watching 娱乐百分百 on youtube so it was ok cos the show is funny.

today was a great day. i didn't do anything. all i did was slack around. i like.

oh i just finished this hk serial called 東山飄雨西關晴. there's this guy inside super cute. he's called 蕭正楠 edwin siu.







he's 31 you know. don't look like right? looks abit like 郑伊建. and some pictures look like 周星驰. but cuter :D ah damn cute. and he's 1.8m. he's bday is 4days before mine :)

speaking of my bday, really nobody want go watch linjunjie concert with me ah? ):

Ok last Friday went for a family bbq at costa sands. Nth much. just eat then talk then eat then talk then eat…

Ok Saturday went to watch ipman with my parents and brother. If you aren’t the Chinese kungfu / history type, the show will bore you to death. But cos I’m interested in all these Chinese kungfu people and Chinese history (yes I’m interested in Chinese history I liked acc I just dun like hving to memorise the nitty gritty details for tests) so it was a good show. Donnie yen is cool. And there were bits of humour injected here and there so it wasn’t all that dry. But yah strictly for those interested in Chinese kungfu and all that stuff only. Cos the whole show was basically talking about the life of 叶问 who happens to be bruce lee’s master. So if u dun even knw that, don’t bother please. It’s a bit like 霍元甲 but I think叶问 more interesting. 霍元甲 was kinda boring. I’m talking abt the movies ah not the people. They are great people.

Wanted to watch yesman also cos klp is really damn inaccessible but we didn’t have time, so maybe we will watch it this Saturday tgt with bedtime stories. Im watching a lot of movies. i used more than half my tickets alrdy. Dun think they can last me till next year.

Sunday I totally overslept and forgot I wanted to check out the kickboxing lessons at the tampines sth cc. oops. Maybe this Sunday I will rmb. I think I hv sth on this Saturday but I can’t rmb. Hmm…

Ok Christmas in 3 days. Ok it’s not such a big deal. I dun celebrate Christmas. But I’m gna hv a Christmas meal somewhere I dunno where. Scotts I think. Or somewhere in scotts? My mother say must wear red and green -.-

I’m working till next wedsnesday, which is the last day of December which is also the last day of the year. And ok it’s nth special as well. I’m still contemplating if I want to go to dte to see caoge and countdown. And I still hven found anybody to go to linjunjie’s concert with me. Ok I hven decided which ticket to buy anyway. But I really wanna go.

Oh my god. Why am I so indecisive? *gasp*

Ok now I shall go calculate how much money I wanna draw out to splurge. Yay. I love earning money.

OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOH!!! TANGYUZHE’S NEW ALBUM COMING SOON EARLY 2009 :D Ok I’m more excited over the album cover then how he will sound like. And maybe the prospects that he will come to Singapore. Hehheh.

Didn’t work ytd. Went back to school to help out with the filming of the homecoming video.

Supposed to be me Jolene shunjie and tiffany but shunjie and tiffany got sent out of school cos of their unblack hair. Yah I supposed they are the two that mr teo mentioned in the recently sent email. Lol. So left me and Jolene. It was fine, not to say nothing much to be done, but 4 would probably have been overstaffing alrdy. But I supposed it would have been more fun cos yah we didn’t have anything to say to the yr6s except filming instructions.

The whole filming process was ok. Quite smooth I supposed. The filming of the band performing was damn hilarious. Kenghoe kept jumping out of the picture and xueling and cindy looked at each other but nv at the same time. And me and Jolene were kinda amused by the whole xueling shi zou shu nv lu xian thing.

the school is erm well… unfinished. The hall is nice and airconditioned. Ok that’s it. The classroom chairs remind me of coffeeshops and funerals. Oh the statue of kongzi not there yet. Haha.

Ok after that supposed to watch bolt with some 5c21 people cos long time nv see them alrdy but then only june and shunjie were free. So I asked hj along (rmb the sms ytd?) Then shunjie was too lazy to go all the way to kallang leisure park so left me june and hj. Then I decided to ask leeyan along cos I haven’t seen her in a long time. So yah it became me june ly and hj.

And you think that’s the end? NO!

June went missing! Cos shunjie didn’t tell her the location and june went to tampines mall. So interesting. So she didn’t come down in the end. And I alrdy bought the tickets so it was 3 people with 4 tickets. Then there was a bunch of house comm people there so I went to ask them if any of them wanted to watch. Free also no one want. So no choice lor. Ly asked a few people if they wanted but everybody wanted to watch four Christmases so too bad lor.

Ok so in the end I was the only 5c21 person -.- ok so I supposed I will only see them at class chalet? If I go la. and if they go. Oh and the whole objective was to see june who misses me and the objective wasn’t met. Sobx ):

Oh wait. I forgot to talk about bolt. Ok it’s a really cute show. But sooooo predictable. If u go for cute talking animals, yah it’s good. But if u want a movie that got more substance, go for twilight. I really like twilight. Hahahahahaha.

I wanna watch ipman, yesman, bedtimestories and ytd saw the trailer of a new movie coming next year called the dog hotel. Looks damn interesting.

I WANT TO RUN THE 21KM HALF MARATHON NEXT YEAR. YAY.

ok so basically, cruised with my parents, Jolene shunjie and weiliang from Sunday to wedsnesday.

Ok so cruising with friends means I get to join more activities on board cos I wouldn’t join them alone. But it also means much lesser sleep cos yah join more activities ma. And less privacy and less freedom and I dare not swim. Haha.

Ok so we joined cardio combat :D hehheh. The instructor said wl not enough power and he said (ok signalled) I’m good :D yay. I am so going to learn some form of boxing one day. I am talented. HAHHAHHAHAHAHA. And shunjie was more of cheerleading then boxing. Lol.

Ok shopping at penang. Didn’t buy anything. But we gave weiliang a mini makeover. We added colours to his wardrobe. He really looks better with the new clothes and bright colours. We should all wear colours. Black and white sooooooooooo boring.

We taught weiliang how to swim in phuket. And the tanning session wasn’t very successful cos the sun was hiding behind the clouds. We had facial. 359baht for 65mins. Other than the removing blackheads and whiteheads part which was freaking painful and gave me a nose that looks poisonous, the facial was good.

Oh then the last day was a full day on board so we went for the gameshows and stuff. The 3 of them went for the murder mystery thingy while I slept and only weiliang the noob didn’t get a medal. Then we went to watch the weakest link (woooooo~) and then after that got some personality thingy in which we have to guess which of the crew member on the panel did what. I got 6 out of 20 and it was the highest score and I got a medal. Lol.

Ok now for the highlight.

HOTTIES ALERT! Hohohohohohohohohohohohohohohoho! Saw this pair of brothers who look good. Got shape just a bit lacking in height. The younger brother is called nigel and we named the older one ryan. They have this little brother whom we named johnnycitis (a form of disease). Ok so after my radar got activated that they exist, we kept bumping into them. And then when we disembarked, while waiting for the luggage, my mother said they kept looking over. I tell u, the looking is mutual. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh then I bumped into them at the taxi stand and they smiled AT ME. Oooooh~ melt. Ok end of alert. I kinda forgot how they look like. Must ask shunjie for photo. Hoho.

saturday went to esplanade to help out with some photo/video taking of some dialogue thingy abt singapore films dvd vol.2. easy 2hrs of cip :D haha. saw huanjun at the esplanade and the first thing he said when he saw me was bloody hell. totally can feel how much he cherises me as a friend. totally. thanks buddy :D HAHA. and he dao my sms. or maybe cos my sms is like "eh bloody hell. u free tmr? i wanna date you" hahahahahahaha."

oh i went to watch twilight after tht with my parents and brother. i think it's a great movie. go watch. recommended :D i'm not an idiot, so no spoilers :D

ok so we went to watch at kallang leisure park since it houses the only film garde -.- then after the show we left and then we walked out then is the carpark ma then the carpark was like FULL. we were like why are there so many cars? klp also not so crowded. then i realised OH ANDY LAU! ok so we missed the bus, so i ran over to listen to a song and back and still no bus so we took a cab to supper. yay i heard andy lau live. oh big deal -.-

today i hardened my heart and packed most of my soft toys into big bags to donate because the soft toys take up soooooooooo much space. i only kept the giraffes one and my favourite teddy bear. ok so those who gave me soft toys and im donating them away please dun be angry. i'm doing a good deed and so are you (indirectly). let more kids have a happy xmas :D yay i love kids. anybody who gets me more softtoys i will box you. i did cardio combat ok. haha.

ok since you can't get me soft toys here are some things you can get me. linjunjie's concert tix. i want the most expensive tickets thankyou. or u can get me a pair of good running shoes. then you can be part of my journey towards 21km :D hahahahahahaha.

Ok so it’s back to work for me today. Had to clear my work before gng for cruise on Sunday. The person I was replacing returned from her long term mc so im covering another person who’s on mc until end of the year. Then she come back and im gone. And there’s another temp staff. She’s friendlier than the Indian girl. She’s called kaiting (woah june). And she’s waiting for her a lvl results. she takes cll. No wonder we click. We both love Chinese and have a fabulous grasp of the chinese language.

After work went down to have family dinner. Historical moment, rmb? So got dinner. 41 pple turned up cos some of them couldn’t make it due to work and stuff. It’s like a lot of things to clear after many days of leave. But yah 41 pple break record alrdy I think.

And then my uncle ask my cousin to ask her friend to come take picture for us. He didn’t want the normal camera. He wanted the pro camera. So we took pictures. My camwhoring skills is in the genes. Not my fault.

Then after dinner we went to the airport cos my 7th uncle had to go back to Holland cos there’s a festival this wkend. I forgot what’s the name but it’s only in Holland and it’s quite cute. Ok digress. Yah so at the airport we camwhored. There were many pple staring but we ren duo shi zhong so we win. Haha.

Yah if I were my uncle, I wouldn’t want to go back. It’s like so many pple go and song4 ji1. will she bu de one ma. But he has to work so no choice. And my other uncles and aunts and cousins who flew back also flying back in the next few days.

My 5th uncle is staying longer though. Cos he wants to spend more time with his grandson who is like uber cute. Seriously. He is 2 and I’m saying he is uber cute, so he has to be. He likes me. He only wanted me to carry him today.

Oh digress awhile. There was one day he went up to my hse with another cousin of mine. Then when my cousin went to the toilet I carried him then hugo see I carry him nv carry him then hugo jealous and tried to bite his shoes off. Good thing I tall.

Ok so yah I wonder when will be the next time the 12 siblings will get together again…

Oh and 12 siblings is 10 brothers 2 sisters. Shi xiong di u knw. My father is the youngest so is the cry a lot one. Heh.

Pictures when I get them and I realise I didn’t blog about standard chartered. So many things happened in the past week. Hard to digest. But aiya it was crap. Go read jolene’s blog.

Ok so my grandmother’s funeral lasted for a week, from 27/11 to 3/12. it was held at the void deck beside my blk cos my father is the youngest son. Tradition has it that the funeral be held either at the oldest or youngest son and the oldest son is in Holland so yah.

It wasn’t a happy occasion (DUH!) but it somehow helped to bring the family together. There was nv a “gathering” like that. So I suppose sth good out of sth bad? Baaah I dunno wad im talking about. But u get my gist.

so it was basically just hosting the people who came to pay their respects and playing cards and playing mahjong and eating and eating and eating. Seriously. Everybody (ok fine, the females) complained they put on weight.

Ok i dun wan to go to the details but I really think this funeral (I know it’s supposed to be a sad occasion, and it is) brought the family tgt. All my uncles from Holland flew back. Like ALL. Including my 5th uncle whom I’ve only seen once for 2 mins because we happen to just zhuang4 dao4 at bugis (he came back to visit his children a few years back). And my 6th uncle whom my mother said ive seen when I was 3. or was it my 5th uncle? aiya the main idea is I have no idea how they look like until like a few days back.

And it’s like the first time in my family history that the 12 siblings appeared together at the same time at the same place. First time leh. Cos my 1st and 3rd uncle left for Holland when my ah ma was still pregnant with my father. Then subsequently a few more went over also. And they do come back but nv at the same time. So yah my father is 45 years, so it’s like 45 years since all siblings were together. Historical moment.

And as for me, the amount that I talk to some of my cousins in this week is like more than what I’ve talked to them for my entire life so far before the funeral.

Ok enough about the historical moments.

Everything was quite ok, I supposed things went smoothly. Except that we needed extra tables, extra drinks, extra fridge, extra fans, extra peanuts, extra lights… cos my family is like erm huge. Then all the like in-laws and friends came to pay respects so yah. and we needed to buses to fetch us to the mandai crematorium place. Not mini bus hor. Big bus.

The emotional moments were the first prayer on the night when my ah ma passed away and the final prayer on the last night of the funeral and the last day. The last day was the worse. Cos u knw, it’s the final journey for my ahma.

Oh yah and when all the brothers and sisters were there together. Especially when my 5th and 6th uncle returned. Cos it’s like yah those 2 are the most mo sheng ones. Then we were like counting 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. like finally can finish counting. It was quite weird having to call them uncles at first cos it’s like “erm I dunno u leh”. But it was fine cos the thing about the siblings is that they sure look like some other sibling. Yah so there was the 胡家 look.

But my uncle said that we shldnt be too sad because my ah ma lived a long life, have so many children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She lived a blessed life.

Ok I dun feel like continuing alrdy.

My grandmother has ended her sufferings and it’s time for her to reunite with my grandfather after 45 years.

Ah Ma, Rest In Peace.

Oh hi!

Didn’t go to work today cos of sailing but I didn’t go for sailing cos it’s every girl’s favourite time of the month.

So I went to visit my grandmother in the morning. Her health has taken a serious downturn this year and she slimmed down a lot. I wasn’t close to her cos I normally see her only during cny and her birthday. But still, it’s really heartwrenching to see her in this state. She’s alrdy 81 and it’s very heartbreaking to see her suffer like this. And now she can’t talk so she’s having difficulty expressing herself to us and she’s angry with herself for that. When I went up, my 2 aunts were just leaving to go take a look at the pai. U knw the one in temples for the deceased. Yah so, I guess everyone is preparing for the worst alrdy but we hope that she can make it till next year’s cny and for her other sons in Holland to come back to see her. Hai…

Yah so after that went to watch Beverly hills Chihuahua with Jolene shunjie and weiliang at film garde. Kallang leisure park has like nothing. Why can’t they give us like gv or cathay tickets? Zzz. Ok so the south American guy in the show is like HOT with a capital H, O, T. and I think Delgado or wdv his name is has a very sexy and manly voice. Delgado is a dog, fyi. Heh, so anyway, only watch if you like dogs or else erm yah nth much with the show. Just loads of dogs, very cute dogs and a HOT south American hunk. I like (:

ok so went to my cousin's wedding last night. ok im not gng to go all WAAAAH over it cos its not the first wedding i attended. unlike dear little june who has nv been to any. JUNE I MISS YOU!! hahahahahahaha.

but yah brides always look pretty.

and erm we ate and talked and laughed and drank and yah liddat lor. weddings are dinners with a groom and bride. heh. ok and lots of love in the air. heh.

ok and ytd wasn't only my cousin's wedding. it was also my brother's bday. so i bake a cake for him. we celebrated on sunday. and u knw one of his campmate baked a cake for him too. so sweet right? next time then i upload pictures.

ok and i also found out tht another one of my cousin is getting married next year end and another one beginning 2010. that's a lot of weddings. i pity ppl like june who have nv been to weddings. ive been to like i dunno. 10? or more maybe -.- ooh i mentioned june again. heh.

hello im back from cruise.

the birthday cake i baked for my brother tasted great looked great is great :D

ok so the cruise was like erm yah cruise lor. not like i nv go before. lin you jia's performance was so-so only. he has a great voice nice singing and everything but maybe cos of his inexperience he doesnt know how to interact with his audience. so it was really just singing. and he didnt answer to his fans' encore request. lol.

weiliang nv go take picture with linjunjie so i nv take picture with linyoujia. haha. cos not allowed. lol. and yah there was like no interaction wiht the audience. he was more like singing to hte mike stand. but yah nice voice. really nice. especially bing tai. ok la thats about it. got one more thing i say le weiliang sure faint.

cos i was sitting like right at the front right in the centre for the 2nd show. then i think lin you jia was nervous cos he kept like looking everywhr but the audience. then there was a point of time he looked down. and i was sitting there what then i was really listening attentively so he looked at me and sing. ok weiliang faint. he was singing qing shuo. ok weiliang faint :D

oh right i didn't get the scholarship ): i only got the bursary. urgh. so now im thinking if i shld still watch the most ex seats for linjunjie's concert. anybody want go with me?

ahhh i can't believe i didn't make it to top10percent leh. im really disappointed. i really thought got chance ):

Ok so work as normal. Nth special la. But they have a really cool hole puncher which burns the hole out instead of punch it out. Shld be called hole burner. Haha. And yah im damn efficient. Oh I went to genting last weekend. I shall go to the themepark next time if I go with my friends or brother. Looks fun after the upgrade. Or I didn’t get into the casino. The cut off age is 21 not 18 ): oooh I watched quantum of solace. I think its fine. Lots of action. The only thing I didn’t like is how james bond doesn’t seem to fill pain or wadsoever. Sorry sadistic haha. And I watched it in a cinema lying down in an osim massage chair leh. Cool hor? RM15 only. So I basically just ate and slept at a hilltop.

Oh had sailing ytd. I think it’s the first training that I call exercise. Damn tiring dunno why. But it was fun and cool :D haha. And I can’t stay in the line I dunno why. Zzz. My line zigzag got pattern. Hehheh. After that went to buy baking stuff for my brother’s bday cake wahpiang plus the sailing stuff everything damn heavy. Oh I got tanner after sailing. All the tan lines start coming out. But at least I dun hv on my hands like Jolene :D hahahaha. And my cheeks are a little burnt so they are slightly pinkish then my colleagues thought I today got date put make up -.-

And today I went shopping at ps during lunch break. I finished shopping in half an hour. I am great. And I actually bought stuff. It wasn’t window shopping. Haha. Next time I go bugis. All nearby I like. And one day I will ask weiliang to go Mustafa with me. Haha.

hello. first week of hols gone. g-0-n-e.

hmmm so let's recap.

monday first day of work. at lta in little india. woohoo thaddeus favourite :D there's another temp staff who came in with me but she's weird. for the whole week her mother will send her to work right to her table. and then go to her table to bring her out for lunch and then go to her table to fetch her home after work. eeeee. so i'm a finance assistant so i do finances la. lots of mathematical stuff and calculations. good. keep my brain working or else later school reopen i become stupid.

ok tuesday work lor.

wedsnesday i woke up with swollen eyes so i didn't go to work and went to see a doctor instead. apparantly i have dry eyes and weather dry so yeah. there was this small little indian boy making a lot of noise and being a nuisance in the polyclinic and his parents were playing with him. like erm aren't u supposed to be sick? so i got pissed off and told the boy to shut up. then the mother stare at me and i stare back. and u knw my eyes were like bloodshot and when u hv bloodshot eyes and u glare at pple, you look like a serial murderer so the parents shut up and told the boy to shut up and they went somewhere else like they had no business there. then went home had a long nap. and then i went to ms chia's bbq and ate and talk and bully people and then i had to leave early so i left alone and cos there were lots of construction going on there were lots of construction workers there and it was quite scary. i got lost on my way out then i saw a bus stop and there was a bus approaching and there were lots of workers so i just hop on the bus and miraculousy ended up at tiong bahru mrt :D yay.

thursday back to work and i don't think anything special happened.

friday went back for gpf in the morning. gi gl-ed a lot of pple as always. had a mini celebration for bobo. went to work. and finished the afternoon's work in 1 hr so i had 3 hrs of sitting thr to earn money. got bored after a while -.- i like to do work while working.

saturday went to republic poly for the standard chartered briefing. quite lame la the briefing. and then erm me jolene and weiliang volunteered to be the i forgot what's the name but it's a tiring job with lots of running and the person was shocked pple wanted tht job -.- after tht went to hv seafood with jolene leeyan weiliang quanyi. the meal cost 888.81. wooooo. ok it's 88.81 but the person key in wrongly and then paid leeyan 800 back in cash -.- oh and we finally had the roti tissue which me jolene and leeyan wanted to have like since 3 years back. ok hope leeyan enjoys herself in napahai and comes back with all limbs attached :D

today went out for lunch and walked ard shopped bought clothes and home.

hello. today is the first day of the year-end holidays and today was spent in school. how ironic.

had op trials in front of the whole class and guess what? it is only my second trial. cos i missed my group's first trial and i had to leave early for my first trial, which was yesterday. so today can be considered my first full trial. and tomorrow is the real op. lol. but after today's trial, i'm rather relaxed about tmr i dunno why dun ask me why.

ohh. yesterday after i settled my stuff which i had to leave op trials early for, i went to bugis and bought a pair of ankle boots. 3 and 1/2 inch heels. now shunjie refuses to go out with me for fear that i will wear the pair of boots out and he will look short. i'm too lazy to take and upload a picture so yah.

ok and erm holidays have started. i'm rather looking forward to this holidays i dunno why i just am. and i've actually made a holiday resolution to leave school work alone until 09. i dunno about tht now because all the teachers are like PLEASE REVISE YOU WON'T HAVE TIME NEXT YEAR. so erm let's just see how la. still got homework somemore. zzz.

hello. i was hoping shunjie will blog so i can just refer to his blog and then i dun need to blog but the stupid lazy pig ass blogged like he never blog so i shall blog.

anyway, today we didn't save the singapore dogs. because bloody hell the damn table was small and there were too many people. so me and shunjie decided that it was a waste of people, time and talent so we left and went shopping. it was interesting.

1) shunjie thought of this idea to fart into little kids face when going up the escalator and the kid is behind you. he is damn gross.

2) a little boy was peeing into a plastic bag held up by his mother in the middle of suntec. he was damn gross (like shunjie).

3) we went into OP and i took up this little skirt for little girls and measured it against myself. just the right size. for one leg. anyway, shunjie made funny comments and the two of us started laughing and the shopkeeper was damn amused. nobody was gross here.

4) shunjie bought collagen water which had 2000mg of collagen. 2000mg too much cos it made the water too heavy and the guardian plastic bag broke.

monday was cca exhibition. i think its totally pointless. as in they are a bunch of year4s. 16 at least. they shld knw what they want what they like, so i think all they need is the cca info and not all the exhibits and OH COME JOIN US DAMN FUN kind of stuff. and they love asking ask what we do. like hello sailing club members sail la -.- and then had to wait super long for h3. AND I NV FALL ASLEEP DURING H3 OMG I ROCK! HAHAHAHAHAHA FIRST TIME LEH. ok no big deal.

ok then next 2 days got back results. i achieved my target of AABBC. so im generally pleased. just that i felt that i could hv done better.

GP - 58 (the targeted C)
a tad disappointed with paper1. i just passed. when i heard there were 40s around, i was expecting higher cos i thought my essay was fine. so 25 came as a bit of shock. but paper 2 cheered me up so im fine with it. i got 7/8 for aq leh (: hahahahaha.

PHYSICS - 78 (the targeted A)
(: but when i knew jonsung got 94, i started wondering whether i could do better with less youtube. but aiya nvm la. i got 2nd highest in class. the difference is like 16 O.O but i'm fine and pleased cos this 78 has more or less confirmed an overall A for me :D yay.

ECONS - 64 (the targeted B)
wasn't pinning much hopes on this so ok la (: and i got highest in class wor~ but its a rather low highest score as compared to other classes. but we have a rather high lowest score. i guess that's what mr lee meant when he said that our classes have rather tight scores unlike other classes whose highest and lowest scores are like WOAH.

COMPUTING - 63.5 (the targeted B)
:) :) :) :) hahahahaha :) :) :) pratical score came as a pleasant surprise :) :) :) and and and because i did the bonus i just nice get 70 for overall :) :) :) yay A :) :) :) i will try to brush up on computing during the hols. try la. it's the thoughts that count :)

i dno how to study computing and what to study for computing.

when i started out going crazy all over xiaogui, it was actually just because i thought he was really cute and funny. then i started watching a hell lot of youtube videos and linked from one to another. i chanced upon xiaogui's interviews and then i read his older blog posts and looked at his drawings.

and i realised that beneath all the funny antics and stuff, he knows what he is doing. he knows what he wants. he has a dream, he has an ambition and he is working really really hard towards it.

then i watched this episode of yu le bai fen bai that is actually a special edition about xiaozhu's journey in the entertainment industry. and i realised that he too put in so much hard work to achieve his dreams, for himself and for his parents, that it's rather hard to belief. i mean, it's like he's that clown every weekday at 5pm.

then i started asking myself, what's my ambition? yah i love physics, i wanna be an engineer? i don't even know what an engineer does. seriously. writing about film? i never saw that as a career. just an interest. for now maybe. i seriously dunno how long it will last.

it's like i dun even know what i'm studying for. frankly speaking, i'm not treating promos as a big deal. maybe it's the assurance i give myself (and many others give me to) that i will definitely be promoted. ok so maybe im still relatively more hardworking then many other people, but as compared to before, i feel like im on holiday (ok exaggeration). i don't even watch that much youtube during the holidays -.-

ahh i don't make sense.

but i believe everyone is worth something. no matter how minute, i believe each and every one of us exist for a reason. i will find my reason soon.

p.s. now i don't think xiaogui is another cute guy, or xiaozhu is another entertainer, they are great people who fight for what they want. we should learn from them. it's just a bonus being cute.

nth much happened over the weekend actually. i just youtubed a lot. haha. super destressing cos i laughed a hell lot :D haha.

oh and saturday i went for this bbq that was supposed to be a 21st bday celebration. i didnt knw the bday boy until i turned up for the bbq -.- cos his mother just invited all her friends (which includes my mother) and family. a bit lame lor actly. not my dai ji i also go. lol. but the agar agar very nice.

then sunday youtubed alot again :D then tht night went for buffet at mercure. the food was ok la. the crayfish was good. the cheese was good. they had a whole damn slab of blue cheese and i observed that i was the only one tht ate it. lol. ooh and their durian cake was heavenly. really damn yummy. i ate like half the cake. haha.

ok monday gp. i think its fine i guess. i did the science and sports question. paper 2 was like the passage was so boring. aq was crap. seriously. crap. ah well. hope i get a good pass.

today maths paper. well, im pretty much confident about it. so i hope i do well. please let me not have any careless mistakes. i didnt have much time to check. and i think people who used the GC to calculate the volume of P are so much smarter than those who integrated the damn eqn manually. heh.

i'm very tired now. the preparation for the symposium, the rehearsals and the symposium itself is very energy draining. shunjie can vouch for it.

ok so basically, as winner of the best film paper, i have to present my paper at the symposium on Singapore Cinema at the Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium. most of the energy was drained worrying about the presentation cos i was really god damn nervous. as in seriously

yah, imagine how nervous i was.

so i spent thursday night preparing my powerpoint and then there was a rehearsal on friday, which ended at 9pm. after which, reach home still had to make changes and then practice. cos i needed to be really sure, or i will go to the stage and faint. so slept quite late and then today was the symposium.

oh right, initially jean said that eric khoo will be turning up so i got even more nervous cos my paper is based on 12 storeys, which is an eric khoo film. but he didn't in the end, cos he had My Magik stuff to do i think.

ah well, the presentation went fine. i was a little nervous at first but after a while, the nervousness just died down and i just looked at zhairui's hair to maintain eye contact with the audience. thankyou zhairui's hair. nobody asked me questions, so i was really damn relieved.

BUT. cos there was like extra time after all 4 paper presentations, the 4 presenters had to go back onto the stage to kena shoot -.- it was damn horrible. it's like standing in front of 200 people with bazookas. but the questions i had were ok. OOOOOH! time to brag.

ok so this guy stood up and addressed the question to me and shunjie. he started by saying we had IMPRESSIVE PRESENTATIONS. impressive leh. not even good. impressive. heh (: and the question is not important but ms teo said i answered the question well :D yay.

ok so the bazooka shooting ended and then it was break. so me and shunjie went to look for the guy who said we had IMPRESSIVE PRESENTATIONS to thank him for his compliments. this guy gave us his namecard and asked us if we could send him our papers and presentations so that he can go through them and maybe they will appear in some magazine (!!!!!) and we looked at his namecard and he is a CEO FROM NEWYORK! that is like ultra cool. we impressed a ceo from newyork. haha. he's namecard had newyork, singapore, hongkong and shanghai so we were like WOW. and then after that jean told us that he actly held a film festival the size of oscars. so we were like O.O and i got really high.

wait i havn't finish bragging.

so during the same break, me and shunjie were looking through the windows of this door which led to some staircase. so we pretty much look like a couple of idiots staring through space and then the CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF THE MEDIA DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE came up to us to praise us for our presentation and paper. he gave us his namecard and offered to help us in the future if we ever need. he is super nice. and i tell u, EGO INFLATION!

wah i type this until damn shiok :D

and after that were presentations by the cineodeon team. i think the guy from ITE east, welven tan, is quite funny. he's a director with his own short films. must take note. he may make it big next time. then was the jury award presentation. 12storeys and eating air basically took most of the awards for feature films. i like eating air. it's nice. highly recommended. and then prize presentation and basically that's about it.

the movie tickets will come later. some printing stuff i don't know what, but they will come later through mail :D so excited :D i get 50 film garde tickets, if you still don't know.

so after that, there was this press conference. so initially i thought it was like chnl 5 chnl 8 chnl u or straits times or sth. so i was like damn excited about it cos i've nv seen a press conference before. and yah i was really excited lor. and i started worrying what if they asked me qns in chinese and how to answer "how do you feel about winning?" and you knw wad? the "press" is like student magazines from nus or ntu or somewhere -.-

oh and mrtanbeethiam, executive director of afa, asked if we wanted to review the dvd compilation of 9 singapore short films which will be out in october and we said yes. ok he asked shunjie first, cos the compilation theme was family, which is related to shunjie's paper and then i asked if i could do it too :D our reviews may be on the website leh. haha. but now is talk only la, no action yet, so this one kiv. heh.

ok so yah that's about it for the symposium side. so wonderful. haha. and i'm really damn proud of myself for completing my presentation rather smoothly. the praises just made my ego bigger than it already is. haha.

ok so cineodeon 08 ends today. the young critics program has been a really enriching one. with all the various inputs of ideas and opinions by film studies students, noob students like us and professionals. i really learnt alot. and i will watch the days. yeah. ah i just sent emails to the mentors for their erm.. mentorship. as dunmanians, we must take the intiative to thank people for their help. yay. lol. and i get one T3A :D

oh we took a picture with royston tan. wanted to take with kelvin tong and jasmine i forgot her surname. they directed eating air, fyi. but they were gone really fast so nvm.

ah i'm really tired. but really happy :D

today is a bad day.

school was crap. revision was unproductive cos i wasnt in the mugging mood.

well, i did a good deed. make it 2. 2-in-1 :)

ok so here goes.

i didn't board the bus at tamp int today cos i went to the library to return a book. so i boarded the bus at the library bus stop. and by the time the bus was out of the interchange, it's full. full as in no seats left. so there was this old lady with 2 bags. one was the huge red blue white stripes one. and she was really frail and hunched and old. so being such a nice kind-hearted girl, i carried the huge bag up the bus for her. and then we both stood in front of the green seats. u knw those for pregnant and old pple? yah those green seats. so there were 2 primary school boys seating there. and they didnt offer the old lady their seats. so when the bus moved, the old lady couldnt keep her balance and she held on to me. and we all knw my sense of balance is great, so it isnt exactly the safest thing for the old lady to do. so with one hand grabbing the handle, and one hand as a support for the old lady, i had no free hands. and i didnt feel like opening my mouth. so i kicked the boy in front of me. gave him the "eh excuse me this seat is for old people like the one holding on to me now" stare. the boy got a shock and hurriedly stood up to let the old lady seat :D

i am great. i scared a small kid and i helped an old lady get a seat. tht's 2 good deeds :D

don't say i'm mean. cos if i'm mean, i will kick the other boy to get tht seat for myself. and you knw what they were talking about? they were quarrelling over who pulled out more rubberbands from girls' ponytails today in school -.-

huanjun the disgusting kuku didnt return my differentiation notes today cos my "house very far" -.- but nvm. i good mood so i shall be magnanimous and forgive him today. *clap clap*

tmr is ap/gp/sigma/mi day. tmr is a bad day. i don't like ap/gp/sigma/mi. mi is like totally pointless. ok maybe its important if you want to like prove some new eqns or sth. but i dun want to. and we are proving already proven things. it's like trying to eat alrdy eaten things. to make it more impactful, imagine you are shunjie trying to eat alrdy eaten things.

ok anyway, some updates.

yesterday was mooncake festival celebrations. went to collect my specs with quanyi yesterday before the celebrations. oh before that me shunjie and the oldshortfatbalding went to eat at the italian cafe/restaurant where bluespoon used to be. totally full. quanyi was full. so ok proven the food is feeling. i had bluecheese pizza. oooh nice. i told my mother and she said next time she buy and make :D yay. shunjie and quanyi had some ovenbaked marylamb and potatoes. a bit salty but nice and feeling. so yeah, if u suddenly hv the urge to splurge on food and all u have is ghimmoh, try tht place. please go with an empty stomach.

then went to collect specs. yay new specs :D

the games part in the LT was fine actly. ok i had no time to be bored cos i was practically in every game. i had to watch thaddeus eat hotdogs. of which he ate like erm 4 in 2minutes while cheeguan could eat 7 or 8 in a minute. then i had to peel pomelos. i was the first girl ok? and i was fourth. i only lost to huanjun, jinhui and waisiang. perfectly fine. i rock. they shld let me peel rambutans. i rock at tht. haha. then i had to watch weicheng throw peanuts and catch peanuts. i think xuanchen is totally cool even though he probably squashed a lot of hotdogs. im going to start practising. LOL. ok make it start learning. i throw always cannot catch one ): then stupid hairy went missing and i went for the makeover thingy. yigeng was cool. damn on. haha.

then had the concert. omg it was stuffy and hot and smelly and boring and we couldnt hear a thing. not to be mean but it was a flop. seriously. no control over the crowd. no highness. no nothing. only a whole bunch of stinky smelly kids playing with fire and got scolded by me. jolene and shunjie please cheer.

went back with shunjie quanyi huanjun tricia weiliang and jerome. and then tricia's legs couldnt catch up with ours, and she got left behind. then shunjie and quanyi went to join her and the 4 of us left first. and then at tampines mrt there the link me and huanjun went to try the mooncakes :D yay finally got somebody try with me. everybody else is too paiseh to do so. i also dunno why. they put there for u to try then try la. also no need to pay. heh.

then i went home bathed and slept. i was so tired and my bed was like "come to me~" i seriously contemplated just plopping down and sleep without bathing. but im not yellow and disgusting and remember we sat behind this bunch of smelly kids? yah so i bathed. and went of to lalaland.

OHH. ytd while gng for econs tutorial, me and shunjie were walking down the stairs and this small girl suddenly ran past the bottom of the staircase and almost knocked into chingsiang and weijie. then u knw beside the stairs is just an empty space then got one wall. so she just ran in and we heard a "BOM". so my reaction was like "她撞墙啊?" and i bend over and looked with a really hopeful and gleeful expression. but all she did was plopped down (really hard i suppose) and she didnt bang into the wall. and my expression immediately changed into disappointment. and u knw wad? shunjie did the same thing. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

today daddy mummy and me went out for lunch. we went to simei to eat, buy baking stuff and groceries. i bought 24 oranges. they were going at 8 for 1.88. from africa. lol. ok thts not the main point. then while we were waiting for bus 9 to go home, i noticed tht my mother had 2 strands of white hair. then i went to check my father's hair and i realise he also got a lot of strands of white hair. hmmm ):

ah today was differentiation day. i got so fedup over one particular question i went to pump to vent. i did 3 diamond pumpings, male style (wow so cool), and i collapsed. OH NO! my muscles are gone. i'm turning into a quarter of a quanyi! AHHHHHHH!!! hahahaha. no la actly nv la. cos before tht i pumped alrdy so yes quanyi, you are alone in fattyland.

oh and i got selected to attend the moe teaching scholarship seminar thingy. so me :D i will make a great teacher. i've got the thing a that i think each and every teacher shld have. patience. i will make a great, patient teacher :D my subject will be "how to be mean". basically, there are only 2 important rules. so much better than any other subjects right? two rules only.

1) laugh at everyone you see
2) laugh at everyone you don't see

ohoh. yesterday, i laughed until cried. as in seriously. the tears couldnt stop. i found it highly amusing. really damn amusing. i just plopped on the floor and i couldnt stop laughing. so if the whole thing was mute and you didn't knw wad happened, it would have looked like jerome, shunjie, thaddeus, mervyn, sebas and whoever were looking at me laugh/cry bully me together. which we all knw will not happen. lol. well the grapes were sweet. too bad they had seeds.

i was in a very caoge mood today so i spammed his songs while i was mugging for physics. the notes waved at me. ooh joke joke. shunjie's joke, which i found amusing. cos i was telling thaddeus and shunjie that i talk to myself when mugging. like you knw, i teach me. yah it's my habit la ok, you can try. lol. and then shunjie started talking to his superposition notes. so i corrected him by telling him that i talk to myself and not to my notes. and he said "but they are waving at me!" HAHAHAHA. not as funny as the cushions but still funny. good thing not as funny, later i roflol in the mrt.

and my brother's friends came to watch movie today. they watched dark knight. his girlfriend wanted to watch little mermaid 3. but of course they didn't, cos the rest of the friends were men (in process of NS so i shall call them men) and i suppose men and little mermaid dun mix but of course i knw shunjie loves little mermaid due to the lack of cloth. but then shunjie is not a men, not even a boy actually, so nvm. and then the notes were oscillating, and please, no matter how much i love physics, oscillating notes are uncapable of capturing my attention when there is like christian bale on the other side of the tv (i study at the dining table and i can see the back of the tv). so i went to watch christian bale. 

and i shouldn't have packed my room ): i can't find my tie now. everytime i pack my room, i lose something. but i suppose, when the room is messed up (which will be real soon), the tie will pop out. my things love playing hide and seek in a neat room. maybe they are like neatophobic. they hide when my room is too neat. they thrive in mess.

my brother and his friends want to go on a holiday after NS. backpacking you knw. their choice was new zealand, but it's too expensive. i suggested africa. kenya actly. they have a giraffe centre. my brother gave me the -.- face. don't you think kenya is a good suggestion. i want to go to africa one day. who wants to go with me?

kingkong is fighting dinosaurs. dinosaur bite kingkong. ouch. you know why the dinosaurs bit kingkong? cos they got no sexy calfs to step on kingkong. they look like trex. i'm not sure though, i've never seen a trex in my life, have you? but whatever they are, they aren't calfosauruses. i've seen a calfosaurus before.

oooh, something smells good from the oven (: it's the holiday's last supper. wow. so arty -.-

and i seriously don't know what's wrong with the movies. during the whole course of the september holidays (not like it's very long, but that's not the point), they air movies like wall-e (which is G, like not even PG, just G and silent for the first half hour of the movie) and erm loads of m18 and 12 lotus. and omg boys like flower -.- jolene asked me to watch wall-e or boys like flowers with her. come on guess what was my answer -.-

and after the hols, the prime mugging time for promos, they have shows like babylon a.d. and bangkok dangerous and max payne and tropic thunder. all action/adventure other than tropic thunder which is action/comedy. all lot of actions. i like but.. but.... but....... WAAAAAAAH )':
