so i went to penang last week. it was a 5d4n trip. erm, well i think penang is a really boring place. all we did was eat, sleep and eat and sleep and eat and eat and eat and eat. and since the movies there are like cheeeeap, we watched shrek 3 and robin hood. i like robin hood. ok and shrek 3 was quite funny i guess, actually i can't really remember. oh the popcorn also cheap. haha. oh and we went for food reflexology twice and a body massage. and we took a lot of buses, cos we bought this rapid transport passport for tourists and we had unlimited rides. haha. yah i guess that's it for penang. eat sleep watch massage. half of penang is closed every day. different shops close but yah so it makes the place pretty dead and boring. and the durians are late cos of the stupid weather ):

after that went for a 3d2n cruise on star virgo. yesyes again i go cruise again. this time the cruise went to redang. so erm ya lor cruise lor. i blog so many times about cruise u can just go back and read if u are so interested.

ok so i came back on friday afternoon and hugo returned on friday evening from his dog hotel. we go holiday he also must go holiday ma hor? and he came back FAT. like he gained weight and he was really really round. still is actually. i'm putting him on a diet. it was so difficult to slim him down then he went on a holiday and got fat. lol.

saturday qy ly and jolene came to my house to play mahjong. with my mother. i had tuition so i left them under the tlc of my mummy. haha. after that i treated them and sj and wl to sakae. like y knw, farewell. yah. and qy and sj had really fuzzy heads. they looked like chuzzles. haha.

sunday went to pp to meet up with june jerome sebas and sj for a while before i left to meet jolene ly wl and wenyi to celebrate wenyi's bday. oh i was at pp for like erm 20mins? and i shared a large ice cream from new zealand natural with shunjie. the 2 of us cannot do anything else but eat. but it wasn't our fault. they had a 30% promotion. and the rest were late. ok back to wenyi's bday. so we ate at cafeteria il lido or sth liddat and wenyi had a uob card so we had 1-for-1 promotion. i like :D then we went to mof for deserts. i think azabu sabo one nicer. and then we walked around looking for a place to sit and ended up at millenia walk koufu. we had a 大爆料 session. it was so exciting. haha. and stupid weiliang act mysterious. hmpf. and oh well, we found out such interesting bits and pieces of everybody's lives (except for a particular bit of weiliang that he didn't want to say). lol adrenaline rush cheap thrill.

this is the 333rd blog post. i shall dedicate this post to shunjie who is in platoon 3 section 3 bed 3 and who is now back in camp and away from civilisation. poor thing.

friday went out to eat with weiliang and shunjie at cafe oliv. finally somebody other than us goes there. food is good as usual. still love the brownie :D seriously the best i've eaten. then after that they went to funan with me and sorry for sounding suaku but it's the first time i went to funan. and ive never been to simlim before. we then walked a horribly long way to see the double helix bridge and however nice people say it is, i think it looks like part of the construction work going on. cos u knw, everything is metallic so the helix looks like some metallic skeleton of an undone bridge. maybe it will look better after the construction is finished and it's the only metal thing left.

saturday was my papa's bday. we went to cafebiz at trader's hotel for a buffet. we had a 47% discount because my father is 47 years old. good thing got the discount. cos the buffet is so not worth it. the selection was not very wide, the food was so-so and the service was slow. ok so they had a yummy prawn salad, thai mango salad (had to pound the dressing ourselves so quite fun) and nice yummy cheese... and yah, that's about it. don't even make me talk about the desserts (my favourite part and normally the bulk of what i eat). after that we went to liang court, and yes it's my first time there as well.

nothing much is gna happen this week, so i'm not going to blog until i return from penang. i'm leaving on friday. byebye :D

OMGOMGOMG I'M BLOGGING AGAIN! i'm such a frequent blogger :D

it was great seeing shunjie and quanyi again after so long. they don't look that bad without hair, they look normal.

anyway, today went to the airport to send jolene and nicole off to vietnam. it was so lame. like they are only going for 6 days? hope they don't die there and live to come back and give me my souvenirs :D

after that hopped on to a random bus with grace shunjie and quanyi. shunjie wanted to see the double helix bridge so we got off, and realised it was still raining quite heavily, so we ended up at marina square. we watched back-up plan. not a bad movie, quite funny. especially the giving birth part. if you are considering whether or not to have kids, maybe you will want to skip this show. haha.

oh and when we bought the tickets, we were given this jackpot ticket, and we won free cruise on superstar virgo for 3rd and 4th person if the 1st and 2nd pay full fare. my mummy says its not worth it. and then my brother say "oh, i won that before too and i threw it away!" so much for winning the jackpot, but then it's a sure-win jackpot. lol.

and shunjie has a very funny way of sneaking in food. haha.

ah, it's great hanging out with friends :D

ucl finally changed my offer to unconditional and i went down to ura to sign the scholarship deed with my 2 sureties and a witness. it was such a huge step. like yah, i know i'm going to take up the scholarship and go to ucl and everything, but it all seemed so unreal. until today, if you get what i mean. like the signing of the deed finalised and made everything real.

scary step to take. it's 10 years of my life and my father and cousin just became guarantors to a possible sum of $400000. but well, i made my decision.

anyway, to all who still bothers to read this space, i want photos. like i dunno, if we ever went out, took pictures in school or what, i want all the photos. please :D thanks :D facebook should totally have a "download all pictures" tool. somebody create it please.

i'm a good girl, i'm now starting my weekly blogging :D haha.

last saturday had dinner with nicole, grace and weiliang. after that they plus jolene came over to my house, supposedly to watch anime, but ended up only grace watch. wl slept and the rest of us mahjonged. then we watched kick ass so bloody boring i fell asleep and then we woke up and went for breakfast.

ok and my mother signed up for this one month trial at amore fitness in an attempt to get a healthy lifestyle. so she know she won't have the discipline to go, so she signed me up to so that i can drag her along to go. so from monday to friday i basically did nothing but go to the fitness centre at tampines1 to make full use of the money spent. joined the lessons. some were quite fun, some were rather boring. and there are so many aunties, some really damn fit. like muscular fit. woah. ok but i think my mother is not going to continue after the trial ends. haha. neither am i. spending so much money makes going to the fitness centre more of a chore. so i think i shall stick to running (once i get the momentum to start all over again). free and easy. heh.

oh yesterday was a fun day. lol. went to take the circle line with jolene and leeyan. so lame. we only took from paya lebar to dakota, realised there's nothing then took to stadium. the stadium station quite nice but i think too narrow. got a claustrophobic feeling. then we went to klp to eat kfc and yoguru (i prefer j.co) and look at fridges and induction cookers. then we took the circle line to mountbatten and transferred to a bus to parkway. such a great adventure with public transport. haha. at parkway we walked around, look at treadmills (jolene wants to get one like woah she is actually planning to move), and containers and all the homeware. leeyan was like shopping with 2 aunties. then we went to giant and amazingly bought nothing. then we went to isetan and leeyan and jolene bought a magic mop each for their mothers for mother's day. lol. i bought my mother reebok trackpants for her fitness classes. hahahahahaha.

today is mother's day. happy mother's day mummy :D and today is the day i start blogging all over again. i will try to keep the momentum going, ok? please pester me to blog if i don't. ok i'm going to go read my harry potter (i'm rereading :D now at book 5)

HELLO EVERYBODY! it's been hell of a long time. i've decided i shall like quickly summarize up the last 3 months and then i will dilligently blog weekly so that i will have the momentum to blog frequently and then i will continue to blog when i go to london so that erm yah, i presume i have friends who want to know what's up with my life thank you very much.

ok february, i worked at the singapore airshow, there was cny celebrations with family and friends, i did the contact lens roadshow with the humongous skirt that gave me blue blacks on my hipbones, my brother went to hk with his friends, i cooked a 4-course meal for my parents 22nd wedding anniversary while i ate in the kitchen and there was jerome's housewarming which i can't exactly remember what happened or if it happened at all it's just written in my organizer and then i had february meal with weiliang at azabu sabo where there is very very yummy desserts :D

wow, i dunno if i should be pleased that february can be summarized so quickly, makes my life seem boring. but NO ok? my life is very interesting.

ok march. oh damn happening. there was results day :D oh god, such a happy day :D so i got 7 distinctions (B for PW) and yay :D ok la the happiness is indescribable so i will just :D hehheh. then that night went for a buffet celebration with my family at Marriot Hotel. oh god the food... and they have this tea - sth of harrogate, i can't really remember, but the tea is damn fragrant and nice and i can't find it anywhere. not even in specialty shops. and the next day jolene sj and i went for march makan at wild Honey at Mandarin Gallery and then headed to 313 to continue eating. all we did was eat. and then there was my mummy's bday, and then i helped zhou with here school project. i wonder how she did. ooooh and then 12/3 小鬼 autograph session :D went with jiaqi. oooohmygod he is so cute :D oh and we had a mini 4c omnomnomnom session which was really mini but good all the same :D great meeting will with pple who we haven't met for a long time. and there was a mini 6c21 dinner another really mini outing. and then a mini np dinner also damn mini. and another 4c mini outing with breakfast at elias mall then mahjong at ziren's house. oh and i went for a cruise with my parents and jolene.

ok my birthday will have a paragraph on its own. so on my bday, went to watch how to train a dragon with jolene and leeyan. then headed back to my house where there was a surprise. so jolene and leeyan were suppose to accompany me away from my house. but i kinda guessed it so haha. but it was great all the same :D thanks for the presents and the effort :D im bringing my bday presents over to london, which includes a mini fan and a fruit knife. haha.

ok so there's march. and now april. oh well, april was spent going for all the interviews and tests and activities associated with scholarship applications. i applied for a lot. i applied for ntu nus bca bca-industry, ura, hdb, lta, keppel, jtc. 9 leh. haha. and in total i went for like 10 to 15 interviews. hohoho. ok so in the end i got ntu, nus gms with gep, ura overseas, jtc overseas and bca local. i contemplated for a very long time and i finally decided on ura overseas and im going to ucl to pursue a direct masters in civil engineering. so april was really busy in formal wear going for interviews but it has also been a very enriching month. through the interviews, i learnt more about the industry that i'm planning to go to and more importantly, in preparation for the interviews, answering the questions and finally contemplating where i should go, i had to do a lot of reflection and really ask myself who i am, what i want, what i like, where should i go that sort of things. so it wasn't an easy decision but it was a decision i made after a lot of deliberation. so i'm not going to regret, i'm going to spend the next few months preparing, spending time with my family and friends then i'm going to go to london and get a very enriching and happening university life and then i'm going to come back and be useful to singapore. or at least, that's the plan.

oh and april meal was turkish food at sokra. different kind of food served on swords and daggers. haha. and of course, yummy :D
