haha.

long time no post. its funny how things can be. u stop doing sth for a very long time, and it takes u 2million years to get it started again. ok maybe its just me. im lazy.

my last post was like in feb 21. many things hv happened i guess.

the period of chionging projects and hw and tests.

the period of leisure camp preps when i practically could pee in my pants because of the firewood and god knws wad else.

and of course, LEISURE CAMP 2007.

lc was cool :D i knw tht my hard work, qy's hard work, the board heads, vice heads, NCOS and cis and whoever who helped in one way or another paid off. yay.

it was different gng through this camp as an nco. no more saying thankyou sirs and maams, da jia chi zao can, cos we were the ones preparing and being thanked.

and it made me think, the next time i attend, i am an ex-nco. how time can actly fly. with its own wings. not others'. HAHA. and i rmb the times when i kaobei to i dunno who abt boonwei during sec1 lc preps. HAHA. memories :D

and then laughing with leeyan and jerome and pinhui and gujinwen about PIKACHU during sec2 lc preps. and being disappointed tht i wasnt a leader. but tht doesnt matter now. i still enjoyed myself :D

and chionging the signboard and flag and identities and nametags with hl, kk, hj at hl's hse until late at night when all the other grps were done with theirs. and then hving the smallest but the SEH-EST group during tc06 :D

and now, as a coordinator of a camp, in a new environment, new campus. preps are no longer rehearsing dance, memorising songs and cheers, thinking of whether our fieldcook will be yummy, or whether our pioneering structure will stand.

it was a good experience :D

the camp went on smoothly, not much setbacks. other than the backdrop. ahhh. tht was it. the backdrop. it was crap. 2 hrs of under the sun. pulling and pushing. thinking of ways to hoist it up. and SNAP goes the nylon. if only we could hv stayed to the original plan. it wld look much prettier against a white wall. and the firewood burnt :D yay. pays off the hours of soaking and drying, and putting my whole hand into a BIG DUSTBIN of kerosene and risk being set on fire.

and we broke camp early. so ms seow was happy :D

i did not put in my very best for training camp 06

i enjoyed leisure camp 07
i treasured the times we pia so hard for leisure camp 07
i know i put in my best for leisure camp 07

and im sure so did many other nco.
i hoped the campers enjoyed themselves as much as i did, learnt many new things, bonded more as a sqd and as a grp and will keep this camp as a unforgettable memory in their hearts.

and now, im putting in my best for horizon. doing what i should. i guess i have to work harder as a sqd n. then i knw i did what i should, and what i could as an nco. and i can pass out happily in july :D yay.

ok so now i shall go print huanjun's essay, print my geog notes, cook and eat my dinner, do horizon while watching renci and then post some other day probably in 2million years time.
